Posted - 12/19/2008 : 04:46:17 Been a while since my last post so thought I'd update my progress. Have done a lot of work on emotions using TMS, journalling, and louise hay. Learned on top of my own emotions I'm an empath so experience other people's emotions as readily as my own(learning to differentiate)
I'm now able to type a lot more, write a lot more, house work and yard work. I'm also doing pushups, situps etc every 2nd day. Two things that still hurts really bad is brushcutting and chin-ups. I think this is mainly that there are small muscles in my hands and forearms that need to build up just like the big muscles do.
A bit turbulent emotionally, feel like they are all just on the surface waiting to come out. Still can't cry but getting closer. |

Posted - 01/13/2009 : 05:50:58 Been an interesting few months since last update. Came to a bit of a plateau and fell have turned a corner now on the home run, about 70% better.
A couple more things that have helped
1 Strengthening major muscles groups helped in identifying muscle/joint pain and TMS pain. TMS pain shows up in hands as cramping swollen feeling whereas muscle pain is the usual stiff.sore feeling a day after exercise.
2 Work out what a normal body can do recovery wise eg. 2 days max recovery from normal workout, if still sore then suspect TMS creeping in and exercise anyway.
3 Why I think it takes a while to recover fully is because I'm also retraining the central nervous system to work as a unit, it's easily overloaded eg (training to failure, google it) I now mainly get hand pain without corresponding muscles
4 Positive affirmations are excellent, especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I fall asleep saying in my head "I have a strong body and mind" They are particularly good for combatting negative belief patterns.
5. Concise journalling for me is written affirmations followed by whats bothering me (never pain based though) and "I accept myself" This way I can do it no matter how tired or busy I am.
Hope it helps
