I am a professional piano player/composer I have a swollen and painful ring finger on my right hand. Interesting enough I have other fingers that have slight deformation and a thumb that was diagnosed arthritic but ironically don't bother me as much. I have other classic TMS symptoms going on as well, some shoulder and neck pain and tightness.
My main concern is the finger,(when I'm playing I am oblivious to any symptoms) Even though I can play for several hours it is still very annoying afterwards.
I actually (years ago had a TMS doctor in L.A. recommend MSM for my thumb issue which is still present in the background.
My piano coach who also performs considerably recommended MSM.
Anyone have a similar experience ??
