Yesterday I talked to a 20 years breats cancer survivor. She met me with her husband. And here is what I noticed from her:
- she almost never let me talked :). She almost beat me, when she saw me, because of my negative attitude, and resignation/pessimism...
- During our conversation, she didn't let her husband talk either :). So I think she was and still is the alfa male of their relationshipp. Maybe this had change due to her disease. Maybe her husban changed, so that she get better...
- she told me she never feared cancer. She was very pragmatic about the whole situation. She felt in control of her disease, and accept it. She faced her disease as she was something good...
- She did the conventional treatment, and she trusted her Dr completely. (for me this was her Placebo effect, no doubt about it)
- She semmed very tough and a strong person. For me this was her way of convicing her to think positive. That was her way of talking to her brain... she talked to her brain, like she talked to her husban, i guess...
She is still alive, and healthy. She also told me that she bairly notice Chemo side effect.
