I'm not really sailing - I'm taking a plane (I just like the song).

I'm off to Pennsylvania to visit the American branch of my family. The last time I went was in 2001 and I felt truly awful - I must have been the guest from hell!

They'd planned so many fun things and I couldn't do any of them. When I came home I believed that I'd never be able to make the trip again - my back was giving out on me, I thought.

However, when I started to recover via Dr Sarno, I made a 'to-do' list of all the things I either felt I couldn't or shouldn't do - pre-recovery. This list ranged from the mundane - eg - mowing the lawn; to the extremely pleasureable like going back to Pennsylvania and having fun this time. So this will be something else ticked off my list.

I've booked a couple of days in a hotel in New York and we're going to our first ever baseball game - Phildelphia versus Florida, I think.

I'll even be able to carry my own bags this time!

I have previously been the host from hell. I remember a friend of mine came to visit me several years ago after I hadn't seen him for ages. I felt like death warmed up - I had terrible headaches, flu symptoms, stomach ache, and a bladder infection...TMS in full swing! Obviously a tad on the stressed side about his visit and yet I thought I was soooo laid back on the surface.

Have fun on your travels!

Have a lovely time!
I had a wonderful time “over there” in San Diego -hardly no pain or fatigue
despite eight hour jetlag .
“The guest from hell” (I laughed but I can very much understand that it wasn´t fun).
I have been that kind of guest myself.

Kajsa !
