I'm new to this forum, but quite frankly wish I had never had to come on, like most of you I'm sure. I'm only 30 years old and have been suffering from sciatica in my left leg and lower back pain for over 3 years. Just as the pain seemed to be to be going away, pain started in my right side. The pain now runs my life. I base everything I do around it. I've had everything from therapy to cortizone injections and get nothing. It all started when I lost my job and was unemployed for 6 months. Is it my mind thats doing this to me? Is it stress? I must get rid of it but am lost in a sea of pain without a paddle. |

You found your paddle.
Buy and read "The Mindbody Prescription" by Dr. John Sarno. It has the answers you are looking for. |

I had sciatica in both legs from my hips to my ankles in addition to lower back pain. Severe, crippling pain. Thanks to Dr. Srano, I finally became pain free.
Your case sounds like a clear case of TMS pain, pain that is emotionally induced from stress, anger or anxiety. I know of several persons who have had sciatica and they all had TMS pain.
I am sure that you will get some helpful responses.
