Posted - 02/27/2014 : 10:20:02 Stupid neck spasms...I used to have persistent neck pain but that along with most of my other TMS issues, are now gone.
The only thing i am left with are these sharp neck spasms that I either wake up with or get in the mornings (every 3 or 4 months). I definitively know they are TMS (although it is odd that I only get them after I do a heavy back routine in the gym).
A lidocaine injection usually "releases" the spasm but should I opt out this time and try to "think" it away?
My spasms usually take 3-4 days to go away on their own so I dont know if I can wait that long... |

Why is it odd? You need to understand and appreciate the importance of conditioning and how it relates to your symptoms. Seems like you have these neck spasms in your calendar.

If you don't know the answer, I suggest you re-read Dr. Sarno's book. If you do know the answer, but are reluctant to accept it, then I suggest you dive deeper into your emotional state and focus on the true cause of your symptoms, rather than obsessing about whether or not to apply a physical treatment. |

Do you have between 6 and 8 hours to kill? I can give you a call and tell you |
