I wish all my friends and fellow TMSer's on here a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year! I have also been reading Louise Hay's work about what different problem (pain) areas mean on an emotional/mental level. For teeth is said longstanding indecisiveness and boy does that hit the nail on the head! The neck represents being inflexible and the back worries about finances..I am thinking that her work fits well w/ Sarno's work because of the mind/body connection. The book is called You Can Heal Your Life...I think the more we read about how our mind effects our body, the better..Cheers and Love to all!

Al, I went to India for 3 weeks & I was better there. I had a car and driver so I didn't walk much or do anything strenuous. Just had a chill out time & met up with class mates I hadn't seen for 40 yrs which was a real treat.

I am struggling between whether this is a real problem & I need surgery for my fibroids or whether this is TMS. That is why I haven't been posting much.

Will let you know when I have more to tell.

Again I am really pleased about your news. Stay well.

Mala

Hi Mala - thanks, and Happy New Year to you and your
husband too! Yes, it is a significant drop, it has been
creeping up for the last 5 years, some treatments
(naturopathic, chinese medicine) slowed it down,
but to have a big drop from dca is really good.
The cost is about $100/month, not too bad.I will
continue taking it for the rest of the year. I have not
had any side effects. From what I understand, it
wakes up the mitochondria, which in turn tell the
cancer cells to die off, rather than continue abnormal
growth. So, it may be a slow process. How are you?

Al, that is great news and I am so very happy to hear it. I really don't know but it would seem a 15% drop in your WBC is significant?

A very happy & healthy 2014 to you & your family.

Mala

Received some good news today - I had blood tests Dec. 24th,
I have leukemia and my white blood cell count has slowly risen
for 5 years. I have been taking DCA for about 2 months, and my
WBC count dropped 15%! My other tests were better, too.
I actually feel a bit better too, I think I may have had some
internal swelling that has gone away, and my waist is smaller,
although my weight has not changed. Not a tms post really, but
this has made me feel much better overall.

I think the list was at the end of her first book 'You Can Heal Your Life'.

Hi there-

I have this book on audio cd and granted I have not gone through all 4 cds yet but I dont remember her talking about specific body parts pertaining to specific emotions.

Would you by any chance know where this is found on the audio cds?

That's a great resolution! It helps to also not contribute to the atrocities that go on for the animals on factory farms! I agree and try to do the same. I had the pleasure of briefly meeting Louise Hay at a 'You Can do It" seminar in Vegas once..very nice lady..very wise too. She has been speaking of the mind/body connection for years..:)

Thanks, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to You!
I always find something new when I look at her books.
I have an easy New Year's resolution - to buy from
the small local businesses in my area, a general
store, butcher, and baker. They are great, the only
reason I have not gone there is laziness. Also -
farmer's markets when they are in season.
