I have a hobby of reading books, I love it.
I know that reading is a good stimulator for the mind.
its also a good stimulator of wisdom.
I have to admit if I read and don't really take my time and
learn what im reading as in practicing what the book is telling
me then im cutting myself short. I've had friends tell me
"yea I read that book but I got nothing out of it".
Then id say well did you remember the part about
how to reach higher and really expect this to happen for you.
Ah, um I didn't read that part they'd say.
Then im thinking now this person really wanted
something special as far as I knew from this book
and they took the time to read it but did he
actually get the true meaning behind the words.
Did he really put into practice what the book was trying to convey?
You know that's how some folks approach TMS books.
They'll read the book then lay it down and say it
was good but it did nothing for me.
Besides I already know all that mind over matter stuff.

Im setting there thinking , now if he really knew all this mind over
matter stuff and he really digested the book then he'd
be able to carry on a conversation about the book, hum.
See my point, if we really want to get
our times worth in the tms books and if we really
want to get all we can out of the books then we cant just read the book like a novel.
We have to retain the knowledge then through that knowledge
We have to use effort and turn that effort into a habit.
This is when our learning's become wisdom,
when we really get what the book is saying ya know.
We have to do what the books call for and expect a return on our invested money , time and effort.
We cant just expect if we get a lot of head knowledge that we will be able to overcome the wiles of dis-ease.
We have to really learn the concepts, the ideas and the insights.
We have to give it our all and really get into our mind and body
what these philosophies mean in practice and thought.
Its a waste of time to read a good self help book and get absolutely nothing from it less
we didn't expect anything anyway or less we didn't even keep our attention on the words and wisdom we read.
To make this story a little shorter we cant expect to give half our
motivation and enthusiasm to being healed and
think that were going to get all the cure we need.
If you really want it, you'll have to really invest your time and learn it.
Its better to read 1 page a day and
really learn the wisdom from that page than
to read the whole book in a week and say well its just not for me.

Thats Good Gigalos, I guess the meaning would
mean to consume your learning's
let it become a part of you- become 1 with it
its like you have to learn on another level
of consciousness when it comes to TMS knowledge
Its easy to doubt especially if it
takes some time to see results
So many times ive seen friends just give in
when if they would have stayed and kept learning
Today they would be doing fine ya know.

... or read it quickly once to get the overall message and then a second time slowly to let things really sink in.
