Posted - 08/13/2013 : 20:12:12 Hey all,
So a woman who was like a mother to me has had 4 cancerous tumors somewhere on a nerve in her stomach, if operated on she will be paralyzed on one side .
A few years back she had tumors removed as well as part of her large intestine.
Cancer came back.
She walks up to me today buzzing like all the chemo had no side effect on her energy saying the mris found nothing but last month the tumors were there and big, so tomorrow she is going for another mri just to seen if they messed up on imaging.
She claims medical marijuana has healed her after a month of boiling it and drinking it as a syrup.
So Thursday we will find out the second MRI imaging this week.
If she truly believes it works it will but is a month possible to shrink big tumors? What is the likelihood the MRI didn't pick up anything this time like a false negative?
Stories?

Posted - 08/15/2013 : 14:58:10 Hey gigalos *smiles*
I would post on this but got judged last time and can't be ***** with uptight mainstream attitudes. Keep it pure kids. Ice, rooting for your friend. Check out Brandon Bays 'The Journey'. She is too annoying for words but apparently she healed herself of such a tumour. |

Posted - 08/15/2013 : 14:28:56 You know, I just recently read a research article on the medicinal effects of marijuana. The article claims that it is extremely useful in the treatment of lots of serious diseases, like cancer, diabetes, etc. However, the medical establishment and drug companies are intent upon blocking it. I couldn't help but notice that most of the diseases it allegedly treats are often regarded as TMS equivalents. So the calming effects on the digestive and CNS may be the real reason that it works so well. If I can remember where I saw the article, I will post the link.

Posted - 08/14/2013 : 11:33:13 I do not smoke because when I sober up I tend to get worst than before emotionally.
What really messes me up is coffee and caffeine. I notice my symptoms are aggravated by it and other times not.
I am thinking this is a conditioned response because I was addicted to coffee and those drinks because they lifted me up from depression all the time.
Understanding now I dont need external things to make me feel good anymore.

Posted - 08/14/2013 : 11:23:47 I read marijuana, so was interested immediately. Sorry I don't focus on your question directly, just want to write something about marijuana.
From my experience, I didn't smoke this year b.t.w. and plan to keep it that way, it can work both ways. Some people get body symptoms from it, other claim it makes symptoms disappear.
I think it is mainly mind effects at work when it comes to body symptoms. Some people get relaxed as it really makes you focus on the moment, something that is a good thing in treating mindbody symptoms. Others just become an emotional mess from it, which of course has a negative influence. And as you said, there is a possible placebo effect. Hemp oil, highly concentrated cannabis, doesn't give you mind effects but it is claimed by a decent amount of people to have helped them with serious conditions. A "direct" body effect that has been proven is a lowered motility of the gastrointestinal track. I wonder if this might also be a mindbody effect, as I suspect that stressed people have a higher motility than relaxed people. So a measured lowered motility might actually be a normal motility. That doesn't rule out there might be some actual direct healing effects on tissues, time will tell.
Hope she gets a positive (or negative, you know what I mean) result Thursday. |

Posted - 08/13/2013 : 20:24:44 I just read something somewhere -- I think it was WSJ weekend this weekend, that radiologists were given images to study that contained an image of a gorilla. None saw the gorilla, because they were intent on looking for what they were searching for, or not finding what they were searching for. The article then went on to point out a famous short video of people tossing a ball in front of an elevator. The audience or viewers of the video were given instructions to watch how many times the balls were tossed or what color balls were tossed to whom -- can't quite remember-- and then to give an accounting. What few people notice is a guy in a gorilla suit walked right through the people tossing the ball. I know I didn't see the gorilla in the room the first time. You can find this on Youtube.
This is not to say that belief and thoughts cannot have an effect on cancer or that images are always read incorrectly.
