What is the direct reason for TMJ pain? Is it oxygen deprivation or something else?

You’ll fall down, you stumble, you land square on your face. And every time that happens, you get back on your feet. You get up just as fast as you can, no matter how many times you need to do it

I do think o2 deprivation is one of the mechanisms of tms, particularly pain. I think is somehow related to the mental and physical straining which causes the ans to go awry.
