What do folks think about Arthritis as a TMS equivalent?
I was just told that my ankle has some arthritis and is the cause of the pain. I had an ortho look at it because It was a little swelled and I thought I should rule out a stress fracture or broken bone. I did have a bone chip removed 20 years ago from that ankle, but I'm only 42 and have been active since I've been a kid - sports - college sports - hoops, hiking biking gym - I'm sure that ankle X-ray would have looked the same a year ago or more

Been through multiple TMS bouts over 20 years - hives, back, feet, etc - when the symptoms move they create a powerful fear

It does have me recognizing all the chaotic stuff going on in my life and has made me pause to work on it. It's just tough for me to slow down my activity levels - been hitting the pool for now - which I like anyway.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I think arthritis is a broad topic. Sarno mentions normal aging and arthritis go hand in hand.

I think it's just the bones getting older and maturing.

Do not know about swelling issues. But I would not be surprised.
