Hi Everyone. I'm new here--just read part of Sarno's Divided Mind.
Been dealing with sleeplessness and daily headaches--and am fascinated
by this idea that I can get better--that there is a connection
between our emotions and the physical. I had stopped walking,
going to the gym, etc. and now that I know that nothing is physically
wrong with me, I'm working on expressing the emotions.

Welcome Kristen,

My favorite books by Dr. Sarno are "The Mindbody Prescription" and "Healing Back Pain". These are smaller and faster books to read and understand TMS and he is the sole author of them. The Divided Mind is really good too though. Amazon has them if your local bookstore doesn't. I was able to stop my severe and chronic back pain just by reading part of the "The Mindbody Prescription".

You're on the right road now so keep on going.

Good for you, Kristin. Sure sounds like TMS. I have almost no pain anymore, but am still dealing with sleeplessness and occasional allergy-type TMS symptoms. I am making a lot of headway with the insomnia and some with the allergies (which are not really allergies).

Be sure to keep us posted on your progress and questions any of us may be able to help with. Have you tried Ace's Keys as a start?
