not very important but intriguing nonetheless:

I have had athlete's feet for over 10 years. It started out at university and despite a couple of treatments including antimycotics it didn't go away. I keep it under control with a spray from the drug store.

Usually I got really itching feet especially when summer started, but since I started working on TMS, although the usual symptoms appear, the itching is almost non-existent...

Another thing is chilblains that I got this winter for the first time ever. I remembered a professor at television stating that you need to pee over them... so I did... within 48 hours it was all gone... placebo or did the urine do something for real??

any thoughts or similar experiences??

Thanx gmar, I had a sneaky suspicion it was. The immune system should be capable of handling it. Normally I would have ide reactions on my hands from it and that also didn't start this year.

Salamander, keep me updated on your chilblain treatment :) It is also good for the environment, because it saves you a couple of flushes of the toilet every year.

It would not surprise me at all if athlete's foot was a TMS equivalent. I had a yeast infection for ~four months that did not go away with medication or topical cream. Eventually I gave up on treating it and followed the TMS approach. It disappeared in less than a month with no treatment what-so-ever, I basically just stopped worrying about it and it went away.

I too had Chilblains for the first time this year. My toes were red and puffy for weeks and eventually went away. I can no longer take really hot baths or I risk a recurrence. I immediately thought that maybe there is a TMS component to this as well, but who knows? I have been "stressed" lately, perhaps it is yet another manifestation of the TMS. I have not tried the pee treatment, but....what the heck, next time. LOL
