I'm in New York City and unable to come up with the $1,000 to pay Sarno, but would like to consult with a TMS-friendly doctor. Anyone know of any docs in my area who are either 1) not as expensive or 2) Accept insurance? Thanks!!!!

The directory of TMS doctors on the Tar Pit Yoga web site (don't laugh, it's a useful site) lists another doctor at the Rusk Institute. I don't know anything about him:

Ira Rashbaum, MD
Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine
400 East 34th Street
New York, NY 10016
(212) 263-6328

There is also a doctor in New Jersey:

Paul Gwozdz, MD
Board Certified in Family Practice
710 Easton Avenue, Suite 1A
Somerset, NJ 08873
www.GwozdzMD.com
(732) 545-4100

I don't know anything about him either.
