Posted - 03/17/2013 : 07:54:02 The old Indian chief, Wasetchu had lived many summers and yet he still feared what was looming just beyond the mountains and valleys of his heart.
He felt its great power as he had seen it crush all that was before it He saw it bring great joy or sickness and suffering He had seen it make a man deaf and blind who did not honor it He knew those who deny it have no place to rest
All the wise men and women of his tribe spent time in silence waiting for this spirit voice to guide them He knew that children who suffered much did not know this voice so he sang healing songs to them that they might open their hearts
Wasetchu was considered the wisest of all the elders as he had heard this voice in the winds since his youth He walked in beauty with clean hands and straight eyes because he listened well
He knew as his life ended, as a fading sunset, he had walked the Red Spirit Road and was without shame Secrets hidden in the rocks and leaves were known to him as a gift of his trust The songs of creation lived inside of him, he was at peace with his spirit
His heart spoke, this voice is your connection to the spirit world Walking in truth with this voice he did not feel alone
Standing proud in the morning sun, his spirit power radiating through kind eyes of great wisdom he gave this voice a name that others shall know it
Wasetchu called it.....
“Conscience”
