Be aware that after having symptoms for sometime even tasks of daily living become annoying. Try also not to ever think of yourself as wronged or a victim, this only leads down the path of negative thinking, conflict and pain. You can act, but don't react and forgive. |

Posted - 02/08/2013 : 05:25:56 I like this particular affirmation as it is not calling us to delve into any "unconscious" or "subconscious" realm, but dealing with the reality that we are very much aware of in our daily existence, yet give very little thought to. If one actually becomes acutely reminded of the many annoyances they experience on a moment by moment basis, I think it would be enough to drive a person to insanity. The sound of a ticking clock, the fridge running, the dripping of water, someone chewing their food with a loud smacking sound, an obnoxious TV commercial........, on and on and on into infinity. There are so many of these daily annoyances that we cannot possibly give them all our full attention, but they are there and, over time, contribute to our inner tension. If just for the next hour you were to write about the annoyances you have experienced in that hour, be not surprised that you may fill an entire page. |
