Id like to tell of a powerful concept-

This is for jornalers only-

were told to write in a journal about all of our angers and anxietites from past to present and the stressors right.
when your done writing out all of your angers -hurts stresses and worries-

... when you have let those anger and anxiety memories from the past float over you and you have faced and accepted them-
instead of just setting there and wondering what to do next-

then write doun all of the best memories you have in a happy journal from past to present.
open up your happy journal and fill in all the good memories that you can remember from your life-bask in these memories and let them float over you.
this will take you out of the negative state that the journal of anger and anxiety put you into.
to a state of peace and contentment-a state worthy of the law of attraction.

now remember to keep the journal of anger and anxiety to write in every day-this will help re-lease all those negative emotions that have built up in you over your life span-but it wont get you back to that positive state-
This is when you go to your happy journal and write there to enter that state so you can learn to calm your nerves while your facing all the negative emotions.

this will work well for those that wonder what to do next next after your negative journaling

thanks plum-
see we have to face those repressions
and let them float right over or thru us
then we use accptance to move ahead
its the re-pressions that r holding us back-
but after we face those thoughts of hurt and
neglect that weve put on the backburner for ages
we have to get our minds back to that powerful state
and know were in control of our lives-what we think about all day
seems to be the direction we go in-so we journal
and face all the hurt and then learn to re-place
that hurt with good emotional states-not to cover up
or hide from any bad times in our lives-
just after the facing we can be liberated from tension
because we have faced what we didnt want to face-
then we need to move back to the journal of dreams and hope
memories and laughs-so we can mend fully

Eric,

I've journaled pretty much my whole life, long, long before I came across Sarno, so to embrace his method was a natural extension of this. While I've haven't had any success in terms of lowering my pain by this method, it remains a vital means of self-expression for me.

I will try Nicole's extreme journaling because there are a couple of black holes in my past that need a fuller excavation (without expectation of spontaneous healing!) and I shall continue journaling because it's a part of me. So I really am delighted that you write of keeping a happy journal. I like the balance very much.
The positive aspect also serves to keep this relaxed and pleasurable.

Thanks for being an inspiration.

thanks guys-ive been doing this for yrs
when i heard of sarnos style i thought
wells there something different-
and it really helped me to get to those repressions
i just had to finish the repression journal on a good note
it was what worked ,so i kept with it-
and i always had the happy journals-
i just love the way it makes me feel when i write
these stories that make me feel good-
remember to do both-and i like doing it in the order above
dont slack on the repression journal-
we have to face what we dont want to
but after this grueling match i always have loved
to get into that good state by reading my happy journal
or writng a new helpful story from the week-
its a way i count my blesings and feel better-
so keep up the good work guys-this is just another tool
to add to your box of knowledge and wissdom.

Getting through this process is just what NicoleSachsLCSW talks about in her book which she will send forum members free (pdf file) if you email her.

That's brilliant Eric, thankyou. It's exactly what I need to do. I've journalled myself inside-out, upside-down, every which way you can think of. It's been good to find out so much about myself, but I came to an end - it was all very negative, depressing. A 'happy' journal will be excellent. I do quite a bit of that in my head - I call it making "golden dreams".....it's very relaxing and very soothing.
