This is a great find.

The info on anxiety is actually very useful and more than the usual brush-over it's given in these kinds of books. It's nice to see another author pointing up the connection between anxiety and chronic pain.

Lots more to read, though...

This is awesome. Thanks to Aussie for starting the post and everyone else, especially Shawnsmith. I love reading these medical books and from the look of the contents, I think this may help me a lot. I am so happy to see someone like this author who believes in TMS.

And here are the Dead Sea Scrolls. But read with caution (LOL):

Great find but proceed with caution. There is a lot of medical stuff in the book including a chapter on physical therapy and rehabilitation.
While the mindbody syndrome is well covered, not a word on Sarno.

You da man, shawnsmith! I was going to have to buy the Kindle first so thank you very much. I'm going to down load his full book tonight.

Good find Aussie, he's TMS savvy all the way, but I see he's writing a book. I hope he doesn't hope to peddle his wares here, I'm full-up on toasters (see "I am here to help..." thread by Nicole Sachs).

Cheers Mate,

Very good find. If you look at Dr.Hanscom's website you will see that he has personally battled TMS:
