The info on anxiety is actually very useful and more than the usual brush-over it's given in these kinds of books. It's nice to see another author pointing up the connection between anxiety and chronic pain.
Lots more to read, though... |

Posted - 01/17/2013 : 21:21:29 This is awesome. Thanks to Aussie for starting the post and everyone else, especially Shawnsmith. I love reading these medical books and from the look of the contents, I think this may help me a lot. I am so happy to see someone like this author who believes in TMS.

And here are the Dead Sea Scrolls. But read with caution (LOL): http://www.documentacatholicaomnia.eu/03d/sine-data,_Open_Scrolls_Project,_Dead_See_Scrolls_[Original_Texts],_EN.pdf |

Posted - 01/17/2013 : 15:50:42 Great find but proceed with caution. There is a lot of medical stuff in the book including a chapter on physical therapy and rehabilitation. While the mindbody syndrome is well covered, not a word on Sarno. |

Posted - 01/17/2013 : 06:18:59 Good find Aussie, he's TMS savvy all the way, but I see he's writing a book. I hope he doesn't hope to peddle his wares here, I'm full-up on toasters (see "I am here to help..." thread by Nicole Sachs).

Posted - 01/16/2013 : 23:26:54 Very good find. If you look at Dr.Hanscom's website you will see that he has personally battled TMS: http://www.drdavidhanscom.com/2012/05/overview-of-my-battle-with-mbs/ |
