Hello All,
I've been struggling badly in recent weeks with my excruciating sciatica pain, so I've considered seeing a therapist. In my process today of searching for one in NYC, I came upon these journal articles from NYU Medical Center where Sarno worked (he is not mentioned FYI) that almost seem like a bit of an unknown found treasure. They're very informative and easy to read...

http://www.med.nyu.edu/pmr/residency/resources/PMR%20clinics%20NA/PMR%20clinics%20NA_pain/Psychologic%20Interventions%20for%20Chronic%20Pain.pdf

They basically map out and explain the different types of psychotherapy and deconditioning techniques that can be used for people with a variety of chronic pain conditions. I looked and I didn't see this posted anywhere else on here, but if it is, I apologize for the 2nd posting. I think this information is pretty powerful on its own and I might read it a few times to let it sink in. I hope that it helps someone here out! Also, if anyone has a good therapist in the NYC area, I'd love to get a reference. Thanks!

Does anyone know when this book may be coming out? With all the emphasis here lately on mindfulness and spirituality and stress reduction i would find her perspective most interesting.
