Posted - 11/22/2012 : 09:20:48 It may sound strange or overly philosophical to most,
but I am 100% sincere when, on this Thanksgiving day I say...
I'm most thankful for pain and suffering.
Specifically my own pain and suffering.
for showing me the way out.
You see, most people spend their lives working to avoid discomfort.
Everything they do is tainted with an attempt to avoid challenges and failure.
Little do we realize that in our attempt to avert short term pain... we set ourselves up for a life of physical pain, mental strain and mediocrity.
Even less do we realize that pain and suffering is the soil where pleasure and joy are grown- acceptance and awarness.
if i didnt have pain- i wouldnt have known how to be healed.
