Interesting. My TMS has to do with burning pain on the inside of my ankle. I am determined to go to a dance class this afternoon. My ankle has been hurting and I just don't want to give the TMS the green light. I AM going to class and go thru dancing pain or no pain. The pain has stopped! As we know if this was truly physical is would have continued. Well, it left.
It may come back but I am going to dance. Thanks for listening.

It keeps on trying to come back and I keep on saying I gotta do other things. It's a fist fight so far.

Thanks andy64tms even though i study and have practiced for 10 yrs now( affirmations) its like i have to continue to remind myself constantly.And michealb i think your a champ for standing up to the tms and showing it whos in control-how did everything turn out?

Hi MichaelB,

Great affirmation,

This is how I see them working:

1. To think something to yourself.
2. To say something out loud.
3. T say something out loud to others.
4. To write something out.
5. To carefully write something out for others to read is possibly the best thing you can do. Maybe because it takes the longest to accomplish.
