Bipolar is not fun. I had an awful time as a teenager partly due to living in the same house as my grown brother who was bipolar. So from that perspective I have felt the rage.
In recent years a number of celebrities have 'come out' and spoken about their bipolar disorder. I feel in some cases this illness has been glamourised. As you probably know too well, there is nothing glamourous about it.
Are there any support groups for family and friends of people with bipolar, along the lines of Alanon?
How much is this situation preventing you from living and enjoying your life? Are you getting enough "me" time? |
