Posted - 02/20/2005 : 13:16:09 Hello everyone,
I have been reading messages placed on this site and finding them helpful. I have had chronic pain in four sites simultaneously for the last six months, with the first pain starting two years ago. I've started my research into TMS, and read Sarno's books. I live in England and would love to find out about anybody who has had success over here.
Can you help?
Best wishes.

Look at some of my older posts to get an idea of my TMS story. I am a definate success story helped by seeing a TMS practioner in Manchester who introduced me to Sarno and really changed my life. I too had TMS in multiple locations for circa 10 yrs. Groin pains, feet pains and finally agonising lower back pain (backed up with the usual MRI scan showing worn discs).
Out of interest, where are you from in the UK and where did you hear about Sarno / TMS?

Posted - 02/21/2005 : 09:48:22 Hi RichT
Welcome to the forum. I've been posting here for around a year and a half, since I first read Dr Sarno's books.
It took time, but yes, I've been successful in overcoming TMS - mainly chronic, severe lower back pain in my case. Being able to be in contact with people on this site who knew exactly what I was talking about and offered advice and good ideas was a big factor in my recovery, I feel
I still read and post here because I still have a TMS 'personality' - it still tries to sneak up on me from time to time and I like to feel that I may be able to help someone else in any small way that I can.
Best wishes
