Has anyone ever heard about this ?
yesterday i decided to see a therapist and called my insurance request ing a list of therapists,in the list this person is listed her name is
Eileen Buese ,and i read that she practices this technique ,i called today but no answer,i do hope she can see me and not end telling me that she is not accepting new patients blah blah(i know,i have a very short temper).
However i would like to see what your opinions are? since i read the book of Dr Sarno in spanish i am having a terrible flare up,and i am too emotional also, but this time i feel more confident that i have TMS.

I just did some brief reading on Erikson. Sounds intriguing. My initial response was that Sarno indicated hypnosis provides usually only temporary relief, but I did not consider that the purpose was for psychotherapy rather than pain relief. Who knows, perhaps that can help. I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of more experienced TMSers.

A few years ago, for completely different reasons, I did a therapy called EMDR. you should look it up. I found it to be quite useful and the therapist skilled in walking me through the issues I was dealing with. Although, what I failed to acknowledge then was that the issues I dealt with left me with a lot rage and anger that I just wasn't ready to admit then. But I would recommend EMDR as a method of following a chain of events and emotions to "proper" processing by the conscious mind. Although I can't say how helpful it would be for TMS, but the concepts seem that they would kind of go hand in hand.
