I have feet and legs pain and also tingling sensations. The podiatrist told me first that I had plantar fascitis, the 2nd appt he said that I also have neuropathy (but EMG was fine). These days I get a lot of pain in my lower legs and feet (from the foot to the knees). Do you guys think this (including the neuropathy) is TMS? This is all 24/7 varying in pain degree. I also have anxiety and am in medication for it.
Thanks

Hmm.

My left foot was tingling for weeks. I thought it was related to my back pain, aka the pinched nerve thing. But I closed my eyes, focused on my unconscious by looking to the lower tight (for some reason this is what I do) and said "I see what you are doing, you are tingling my foot to make me worry about something physical. Please stop. You can talk to me directly about being pissed off or anxious, leave the foot alone."

Well, it could be a fluke, but I have no tingling now.

Somehow, all of the physical symptoms make us over examine our bodies and become obsessed with these sensations.

I hope something works for you if this is not a serious condition...

Thanks Irish. I am not diabetic. I do have hypoglycemia though. I asked the doc. and he said this was not a cause. Thanks again!

TMS is a possibility, especially considering the anxiety. Have you been checked for diabetes, as that is one of the more common causes of neuropathy? Your podiatrist would have probably referred you for testing if he/she thought it was a concern but you could have your doctor check for it to be sure.

Sounds like classic TMS symptoms.

The pain is real! The cause...well, that's complicated. ;)
