Posted - 02/13/2005 : 09:47:22 Sunday morning and I have a slight cold/flu whatever? A few other TMS syms sufacing from the past that I'm not sweating. My left ear is a little aching, right shoulder/neck also. I thought about it and reviewed the week that was. Work problems having to deal with hiring a new manager under short notice, dealing with my brother/business partner who "doesn't understand how I think,", took my aging Dad to the hospital for half a day of tests to look for any structural reasons why he has given up on life, took my diabetic cat to the vet to change insulins because after two years no results with the original one. All in all survived the week very well I thought, thanks to TMS thinking and now I get to kick-back and practice what Deepak Chopra calls the "Western form of meditation"--staying home sick, watching TV, reading and snacking. But first I'm gonna' do a swim and smack some tennis balls. |

Posted - 02/15/2005 : 16:11:43 Tom, After I see the doctor here this week, I'm going to call Sarno. He's been very generous with me and I feel like I can go over things with him and trust him. I'll send him the xrays and see what he says. I'll keep the doctor you mentioned in Florida in mind, but I would rather fly up to NY to see Sarno if I have to. Adding one more doctor into this mess right now will spill my pot over, me fears.
Thanks, Polly |

Posted - 02/14/2005 : 15:17:08 Polly, thank you for the very kind words, they are greatly appreciated, especially right now as I am having some business pressures. I share your quandry over what is TMS and what isn't--therefore off to LA this week to see Schechter.
I don't recall if I've asked you before if you've thought of seeing any other TMS doctors besides Sarno who may be easier to get into? I believe there's a Dr. Brady in Florida and a few others in New England.
Happy Valentine's day to you too!

Posted - 02/14/2005 : 10:58:48 Tom, I am in awe of you. Your posts brighten my day. I'm still dangling between what is TMS and what isn't and trying to find a plan. Your posts and Baseball Marc's do so much for me. Thanks and thanks and thanks.
Happy Valentines Day. You are a brilliant red rose.
