That was great!
I'm so glad you found it helpful. Starting a nonprofit is tremendously hard work - I just posted elsewhere that in the last three years, in the special email account that I use for the PPD/TMS Peer Network (the nonprofit that backs the TMS Wiki), I've sent 4259 emails. That's in addition to the thousands of forum posts I've made. Sometimes it boggles the mind! ... But when Peer Network members like Matthew, JanA, Beach-Girl, MorComm, Enrique, yb44, myself or any of the others interact with people like you at the chat every week, who are still in the thick of it, it makes it all worth it. You're just trying to be a good mom and have a pain free life. We remember what that's like and it keeps us going and reminds us why we set up programs like the drop-in chat.

I always want to make these and rarely can.
Matthew. Do you keep the chat log available anywhere?
We have the technical capability to provide chat logs, but at this point we don't want to provide them for privacy reasons. The weekly drop in chats are wonderfully intimate events. I've been 95% recovered for three years now, but I'm always amazed at how much I learn each week. I think that the reason that they are so intimate and helpful is that people know that we don't log them and we don't post the information on the web. It's really about a group of people sharing stories, advice, and support in a given moment, and I know that that is what keeps me coming back to them. We wouldn't want to jeopardize that.
However, as our nonprofit grows, I certainly hope that we can sponsor more of them at different times, so that more people can participate and benefit from them.
If people want it (just post here), we could also invite a special guest to join us. One time Fred Amir, author of Rapid Recovery From Back and Neck Pain spontaneously dropped in. He has always been a great supporter of the wiki, and we were, of course, thrilled to have him.

If you want to be on the Email list for the Peer Support Drop In, Inbetween chats email list, you need to do the following:
It may be helpful for me to expand a little bit on this. The "BetweenChats" email list is just a little experiment that we are doing to build upon the more interactive style of conversation that we've noticed in the chats. It literally is just supposed to be a way for people to continue conversations from the chats "Between the chats." That's why we only advertise it during the chats.
Anyone who has been to a chat can join - they just have to send me their email address so that I can add it. Matthew suggested signing up to the other forum and sending me a personal message through that since doing so is easy and because I don't like posting my email address on the internet to avoid email spam. However, now that I've posted here, you can just contact me through TMSHelp by clicking on my name (to the left) and then clicking on "Click to send an E-Mail." (Anyone can feel free to contact me at any time through this method. I'm always want to hear people's thoughts.)
