With our neck issues in common I have been thinking about you a lot over the last several days. No not that way! I hope you are taking a rest from the TMS board. With all the replies you have had I imagine your head is spinning, you have much to absorb, and I am sure some of it is already deep your sub-conscious for future reference. You seem taken with seeing Dr. Sarno in person, and if you can this would be great. In 2000 I was unable to do this due to living in California, so I purchased his VHS tapes instead. I would be happy to send them to you if this would help. You are a visual type person like I am, and you might get extra comfort from seeing our hero with the white coat and cane in video form. Andy

You are right. My head is spinning. I actually took today to go to the beach and meditate. (It was pleasantly warm here in NY and I have off for winter break since I am a teacher). I am trying to really get to the root of why I have so much anxiety and am such a perfectionist as well as what TMS is all about and the journey it has taken me on. I am definitely not a person who is afraid to talk about and delve into my emotions, but it really is amazing that I haven't really gone deeper into why I am the way I am and how the pain I have been experiencing plays a role in that. It definitely is a hard process. Part of me is like...I am sick of thinking about TMS and pain...it is giving me more anxiety! haha...but I know this is just the beginning and I feel a little more optimistic that I will beat this stupid TMS. I did think about buying the DVD...but I have found so many great free resources that I don't think I need to right now. Thank you for offering to mail me the VHS...I don't think I even have a VCR to play it haha. After hearing some things about seeing Dr. Sarno, I think that I can go without that and still be successful. I think I was just stuck on the idea that seeing him would somehow be the "key" and somehow I wouldn't have to do all the "work" I feel like I am doing now. It sounds silly. The suppport of this forum does help. I was really shocked to see the amount of people who suffer from what I have been suffering.
I will keep you and the TMS forum posted!

I believe the DVD has exactly the same content and is around $90. Approx 2 Hours 20 minutes.

If your looking for free I was very impressed with Dr. Schubiner’s four online videos. 15 minute segments each.
