Back from San Diego.
A very nice town and the nature is fantastic. I visited La Jolla
and Solano Beach and The University and spent a lot of time in San Diego downtown of course. I also visisted the dessert and itīs was amazing.

But I am not going to write a travelling resumé.
I just want to say that my pain has been zero and my fatigue not bad at all! After som days I was actually feeling more energetic than in a long time. Despite jetleg (it differs 9 hours) and quite a lot of nice californian wine and 15 hours ride on the plane.
I was very active and did a lot of things.
I did all of the "wrong things". I didnīt rest, I had some wine and
I didnīt sleep very much.
One day I had a bit of the old terrible fatigue but I just continued
to walk and do things and in the afternoon it suddenly dissapeared.
And since then I have been ok!

Thanks Kajsa,

I think a big part of the problem is that we live in an era of thought rather than action. The industrial/technological era has revolutionaily taken us out of a rural, farming ennvironment into a sedentary contemplative one. We sit and think too much resulting in over-use injuries of the gray matter. If we act spontaneoulsy we could be sued and ruined for life. Therefore we contemplate each movement. Rampant TMS is the sign that our mindbodies are in a state of rebelliion. Blame it on the trial lawyers.

I also have to say that I do not have to go to a fancy hotel to get this reaction.
I can also do more rough things like shop for three hours for a friend in a crowded store ( who can not sho herself) or something else.
The thing is that is has to be a challenge and in the same time something positive -something that is different from my normal
(avoiding) pattern.

Where did you stay and would you reccomomend it? Any tennis courts nearby?

Hi Tom

Here is a link to the hotel I stayed at The Westin Horton Plaza
http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/search/hotel_detail.html?propertyID=1009
It was VERY nice and I can recommend it though I didnīt see any tennis
courts (but a nice swimingpool at the top..).

A pattern that I notice (about my breakthrough and other times when I have been able to break a negative trend) is that I have to take action. Not only meditate or think about my emotions.
I guess that this is individual but I think that my body does not belive me before I take action. When I take action (and it has to be in a quite agressive way) the body suddenly relax and I think that it
begins to "rely on me". Do you understand what I mean?
The body aches and I get fatigue because something is wrong in my life.
When I firmly change the way I live my life (not only THINK about whatīs wrong) somethings happens. I have noticed this severel times.
To go on a long distance fligt och have 9 hours jetleg and do a lot of actice things is to challenge all the things I "suffer" from.
It is a very strong message to my unconscious that I am in charge and
the body can finally relax.

Hi Kajsa,

Congratulations! That rates a BIG TMS BREAKTHROUGH! I'm going down there soon also. Where did you stay and would you reccomomend it? Any tennis courts nearby?

I bet if you read your old posts, when you were first grappling with whether you should go or not, you will find a great metamorphosis has occurred in your TMS psyche for the better. It sounds like you really had a good time. How did things go with your friend the scientist. Did you discuss TMS with him while on the trip? Good job. Revel in your TMS breakthrough.

Cheers,
tt
