Kept me up all night. a sharp pain in the left calf and shin. anyone have this? still painful this glorious morning.

I echo dave. Have you by any chance been on an airplane lately, or sitting for long periods?

Pain in the calf must be taken seriously as it is a symptom of deep vein thrombosis.

If the pain continues I urge you to see a doctor or go to the ER to have an ultrasound. While DVT is not necessarily likely, it is a serious condition that must be ruled out.
