Posted - 07/19/2011 : 22:38:00 I noticed a few weeks ago when I was having alot of problems with my lower back and legs that I had cold spots. Like one time last week the back of my calf was cold but the front was normal.
My legs seem to be getting better and the tingling in the toes has eased up quite a bit.
I am now getting this cold spot on the right side of my face beside my mouth. To the touch it feels colder than the other side of my face. Also starting last nite had some strange pain on top of my head on right side.
Could be tension from my neck caused by TMS. Not sure. The cold spot thing is new to me and worries me. |

Posted - 07/20/2011 : 11:51:33 When my health anxiety was raging away this form of parathesia was a common occurence for me. One day my skin would feel cold in patches and the next day it would feel almost sunburnt or windburnt...the back and side of my thighs where the worse for this. I also used to get the weirdest feeling of actually feeling damp patches...the amount of time I could have sworn that I was sitting on a damp seat but when I checked it was of course bone dry.
My anxiety is knocking on the door once more so wouldn't be surprised to see this making an unwelcome return! |

Posted - 07/20/2011 : 05:33:52 Had Ice cold feet and numb/cold spots on my hands off and on for years. The Foot Went away with my back pain after reading about it being just another symptom. The hand thing was funny because it was a few years later. Came out of nowhere. The medic on the film I was working on told me it was probably RSI. Knowing RSI was a TMS conversion, I Immediately put it in the same 'thinking' basket with my back and it went away in a couple of days.
I DID notice that the cold/numbness was always when I was somewhere I didn't want to be... LIKE WORK! Never happened on a ball field or at the park. |
