It could, he assured me (and we all know IBS is TMS). I told him that I was booked for a colonoscopy, not sure that I needed it. He said to go ahead, 'just to reassure you that there's nothing wrong', then maybe look into mind-body strategies, like hypnosis. As a polisher, he added cheerfully that 'Some people find that the colonoscopy cures them in any case!' I am taking this as a big nod from the Universe that this is TMS!!!
