I had these symptoms about eleven years ago a few days before I got married. Over the years I have had these symtoms occasionally. Dose anyone else have an itchy butt? I seem to think that this is a TMS equivalant. What do you think? Garrett |

If it ends with "itis" or "algia" or "syndrome" and doctors can't figure out what causes it, then it might be TMS. |

I have had this for about 6 months and "think" it is TMS but can't be sure. Feel it might also be digestion related. If anyone has any experience, please let me know.
I recently "healed" my bad back through an understanding of TMS but am having trouble accepting that this is a TMS equivalent.
Any advice would be appreciated.  |

Many years ago, before being introduced to TMS theory, I was experiencing severe pruritis ani. The gastroenterologist had no answer (and he didn't even charge me for his consultation, which shows you how long ago it was) and referred me to a dermatolgist. Over the course of the next two months we tried every prescription cream, lotion and oral antihistamine, all to no avail. His final prescription was for a tranquilizer, which is when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I cured myself, and all it took was a wet paper towel wipe after each movement. And to this day, that is my ritual.
Is pruritis ani a TMS equivalent? Quite likely, but in my case, easier to cure with a wet paper towel.
