I had surgery four months ago because I shattered my ankle, shin bone, and more. All great fun! Anyway, they did a bone graft and now I have a big plate in my leg.
I've healed well, but I have pain and the doctor said it's the plate. They want to give me some time, but if the pain persists, they said I may want to have the plate taken out.
Here's my question: Do you think the plate is really causing the pain or could it be TMS? Would you leave the plate in, skip the surgery, and try to work through the pain or would you have the plate taken out?
Thanks for the continued advice,
Zach

Also the pain can get worse before it gets better because the more you return to full activity the more you want the booger off your finger. (wut?)
