I have had an on and off condition for the past 3 month of a burning sensation in my throat. I had a laryngoscopy which came out clear. The doctors think that it might be reflux so they put me on a heavy dose of prilosec which doesn't seem to make any difference. I am worried that my esphogaus is being damaged. I have had many ailments in the past which turned out to be TMS. Could this be another manifestation of TMS? I am under tremendous stress at work.

It could well be TMS. I've not had that exact problem but have had the sensation of something being stuck in my throat before. If you have a tendency towards TMS and are under stress it sounds like the likely cause.
