About 4 years ago. I had some weird visual symptoms happen. I had it happen again about 2 years ago and then about 4 or 5 months ago I had it again. It is exactly what people describe as a migraine aura without headache. It has always involved the right eye. It would constantly grow until it covered most of my vision in the right eye. It has never lasted more than 2o - 30 minutes tops.
I went to a neurologist about it a few months ago. He sent me for a some test where the put an iv in my veins and let bubbles in my veins and a dopler on my head to check the blood flow to my brain. There was nothing found on the test. The neurologist did not seem concerned and didnt say much else about it.

I just had one and it has pretty much gone away while typing this. It started at 9:25 am and its now 9:52. This time it was my left eye. and it covered my left side of my vision in the left eye in a c shape with jagged colorful lines. and some darkness with flashing stars.

I did not let it make me panic this time. I just waited it out bc it usually only last 20 - 30 minutes and the doctor said it wasnt a sign of something worse. I just needed somewhere to talk about it and pass the time. Thanks for letting me rant.

Migraines were Dr. Sarno's initial personal symptom that lead him to develop his TMS theory.
