Jaya, I've had uveitis plenty of times, I get it when I'm stressed, and not sleeping well! I believe it's a TMS issue. The top part behind my eye starts to ache and my eye becomes sensitive to light, then comes the pressure pain in my head, by this time my eye is red and will continue until it looks like a cherry......Not sure what you know about it, but I will say this.....Do not fluff around with this! Get it looked at and get on the steroid drops asap, if you have it. You don't want this thing to get out of control. I have and it becomes the focus of your life.....and very unpleasant to say the least. Everyday it's left untreated it gets worse....quickly. Not trying to scare you, but you need to understand that sitting around looking at your emotions isn't going to help you right now, get it under control and then start looking.

Posted - 10/25/2010 : 13:47:59 It could well be TMS. The Rahe-Holmes lists: "Change in health of a loved one" as a life stressing situation that can cause psycho-somatic pain (TMS). A stroke is a change in health that is serious.
Your symptoms may be atempting to distract you from your father's health issues that will impact his future as well as yours.
