Posted - 08/25/2010 : 08:15:29 i know this is very tms-ee, however i had very good luck with a low sugar diet/no gluten no cow dairy. i added goats milk yogurt to my daily routine my digestive symptoms have almost disappeared. i used to get genital yeast infections in my youth-when i was a real sugar hound among other rashes.. i currently have white tongue and eye floaters which have been on and off my whole life--web searches indicate that underlying yeast issues can cause floaters which dont seem to have any known cause-eyes are good according to 2 dx's. any merit to this whole yeast thing or is it bs?? |

Jaya, Yeast and candida is real. Treat with Florastor. Twice a day to start, back off if you get constipated. Keep it in your med chest and use once a day as needed after that. I tried everything else, but it was Florastor that cured me. Simple! It's completely natural and completely safe. No side effects, recommended by the pharmacist. I give it to my kids. Expensive but worth it. Good luck.

Posted - 08/25/2010 : 11:28:33 The fact that a physical symptom is distracting you and you are posting about it rather than emotional issues is the TMS part.
You are performing food rituals to alleviate physcial symptoms rather than looking inward to the mind for the TMS source.
I had eye floaters. I had a routine eye x-am and mentioned them to the doc. He said they were nothing serious, and, voila, they immediately went away.
The TMS work was:
* I reflected that they went away * Attributed it to TMS * Strengthened my faith in my ability to dismiss symptoms (after having them checked out to see if they are physical) * Went on doing what "I" wanted to do and didn't look for another symptom distraction
I hate to disillusion anyone's successful placebo, but this is the TMS board and the OP asked the question. Therefore, in the interest of TMS academic integrity, I must say BS.
Eat whatever you want. If your body finds it disagreeable, it will dispose of it through one orrifice or the other.
Just Do It!

Jaya, from what I know it's not BS. Candida is the real deal, while I believe most things are caused by the mind if one was to drink 15 cups of coffee a day and have health problems....could you blame it on TMS or the coffee? Candida thrives on certain dietary items......might be wise to avoid for a while, and focus on fruits and veggies
Sounds like you have all the symptoms, take action but don't obsess over it. If you still have issues despite action then go ahead and beat it with the TMS stick......
just my opinion
