I'd like to know if constipation is considered a symptom of TMS? Anyone else out there cured themselves of it using Dr Sarno's methods? |

Yes, definitely constipation can be a TMS symptom. Constipation has been a major TMS issue in my own journey. I have found that when I am stuffing anger or grief I become more constipated. Makes sense, really. Dr. Schubiner on unlearnyourpain.com talks about it.

i would say yes it is symptom- i get it when my stomach is in knots. its like a deep muscle spasm-hot showers, relaxation seems to help lots-i usually get it when something is bothering me.. like my in-laws... read the book a headache in the pelvis if you havent done so already/ between that book and the divided mind they really shed light on whats going on inside you
