Posted - 04/01/2010 : 01:45:46 Hey all,
I suffered from RSI and TMS a couple of years ago, getting it so bad I could barely pickup the phone to call the doctor. Needless to say getting better was a nightmare as getting to Physio was really hard work (not that seeing the Physio helped!) After several months of pain and no cure I stumbled across TMS and promptly read one of Sarnos books + another one some other TMS guy wrote. After working through some personal issues I was back at work in 2 weeks and fully cured within a month. I spread the word after my success and thought no more of it (other than how ridiculously brilliant it was and how amazing it is nobody else has discovered it).
Then in the last 6 months I've noticed a lot of people I work with started suffering from RSI (seems the problem is rising here in the UK). So I wrote down a few notes for some colleagues, updated it a bit based on their feedback and one thing turned to another and before I knew it I had a 20+ page guide. I'm now thinking about polishing it up some more and selling it as an e-book. However, I first wanted to get it into the hands of people who believe in the TMS-RSI link and have experience with the issues first hand. In particular I'm interested in:
1) People who are currently suffering with RSI to see if reading the guide can help cure them 2) People who have successfully cured themselves to see if there are any areas of the book that could be improved/clarified based on their experiences
If you're interested please message me and I'll send you a copy of the current draft, and when the book is released, a free copy of the final version as a thank-you (so long as you send me some feedback).

Posted - 04/02/2010 : 11:11:36 hiya George!
I find it amazing how many people say exactly the same thing re RSI.....
I'm another former RSI sufferer who was cured in a matter of weeks after reading Dr Sarno's books - I put together a website of my story along with various other resources/success stories from TMShelp and the TMSwiki. (www.rsi-backpain.co.uk) Feel free to use anything off that - or indeed, i can link from it to (or host) your ebook when finished. The TMS wiki (http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/) is the most comprehensive repository of info on TMS - I can guarantee Forest (who set it up) would be keen to add your stuff.
I've also sent a few emails to a RSI-uk group about my recovery - if you're interested in this you could either sign up and then send a group email, or i could do it on your behalf....
Well done for putting stuff together - the more the better! Make sure you type up a success story as well - the TMSwiki has links to about 40 already - and they all really help in spreading the message (http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/page/Repetitive+Strain+Injuries+-+RSI)
