Hi,

I'm giving a talk next Tuesday evening (23rd February 2010) at 6:30pm about my recovery from RSI at the Central London RSI Support Group meeting.

Hopefully Hilary will be coming, too, to talk a bit about her recovery from back pain / help answer questions. 2 x Hilary's for the price of one!

Do come along if you'd like to talk to us. There's a £3 contribution to room hire costs (£2 unwaged).

Lucas Arms, Upstairs Function Room, 245a Gray's Inn Road, London. WC1X 8DP

Also, on Saturday, 20th March, I've got a stand at the RSI Conference. Georgie Oldfield (TMS practitioner) will be coming, and some other TMS recoverers, so you're welcome to come and talk to us then.

For more TMS events, check out the Events page on the wiki

Wish you could be there, too, mala!

Thanks, Gibbon. I already have a handout from previous talks, but I may print a page from your website and also
http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/page/So+You+Think+You+Might+Have+TMS

If you manage to get down here for the conference, do bring whatever you think would be good for a handout.

Another thought re the wiki - promoting the "Events" page would be pretty good - at the moment it's kinda hidden away. Having some sort of explanation about it and links from the homepage might be worthwhile....

good luck!

Are you going to take any resources for handouts? Some decent ones (which i'm sure you already know about ):

1) The recent TMS article http://tmswiki.net/misc/Gordon_Oldfield_Berdeski/

2) "How to cure TMS"
http://www.rsi-backpain.co.uk/page4.html

3) "Medical Evidence" section http://www.rsi-backpain.co.uk/page3.html

4) The RSI success stories summaries
http://tmswiki.wetpaint.com/page/Repetitive+Strain+Injuries+-+RSI

5) Or the test page - with slightly longer summaries - could be useful if there are people interested in backpain as well...

If you want any help putting together a handout pack let me know!
