I would be interested to know if any of you were quite young and had to go through the divorce of your parents. I ask this because I was 14 when my mom and dad divorced. Divorce of one's parents at such a young age may generate feelings of abandonment in the child. |

Posted - 01/11/2010 : 12:35:52 Hey Shawn, How ru? I relate to this post too. My parents divorced when I was a teenager. I was rough and I believe is part of the reason I have never married. As for my pain, I am sure it's part of it. Although they divorced and married 2 other people, 18 yrs ago they still died 5 months apart. That was very tragic indeed. I feel for you and understand. Hugs, Karen |

***************************************************************** Dear Shawnsmith, Divorce, It is such a tragic thing when it happens, and so bad for the children. Really it corrupts not only one generation, but the next as well.
Childs are like open consciousness. Whatever sad happens early , it embeded very deep and it cannot be reversed so easily and it may manifest as pain.
Only spiritual approach can transform life and will change our attitude towards these things permanently.
