As I am a frequent poster on an anxiety forum I have been asked by some members regarding my views on the relation between TMS and anxiety and if they are actually the same thing.

I have posted my views on here regarding this but also thought I would link to a valuable thread from anxiety zone which I actually believe is a crucial factor in recovery from any somatic condition and that is that we MUST accept the benign diagnosis and move away from the physical.

Whilst this thread will no doubt be more salient for those people currently struggling with physical anxiety and/or health anxiety I think the core message is of value to us all.
