Wow, that looks like a great article - I'm just half-way through it at the moment. I like this:

"To answer his question, “Why are you creating this pain for yourself?”, I replied, “Because it feels good. It satisfies my ego’s need to attach itself to problems. But deep inside, it doesn’t feel very good. My stomach feels tight.”"

So true!

Thanks for this. I think it's great when people are prepared to talk so honestly about their life experiences. It's so helpful to others who are afraid to open up.
