I have noticed recently that when I am having an episode of extreme pain and I am trying to not give in my heart starts to race and I feel like I might pass out.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Marsha - It sounds as if you're having a panic attack in response to your pain and yes, it has happened to me. It is so frightening to be in pain like that and doubly frightening to work yourself (unintentially) into a panic attack. I hope you're feeling better. |
