Hi, I am in the Los Angeles area and Dr. David seems to be the only one around here that diagnoses TMS.
I was wondering if anybody has been there and had opinion to share?
Thanks so much

You are in Los Angeles and Dr. Schecter is in Los Angeles. Unless financial concerns are keeping you away, I think seeing Dr. S. makes sense given the dearth of other options.

I was a Sarno patient when I lived in NYC in 1995. I chose to see Dr. S. in 2004. He is certainly no Dr. Sarno. Dr Sarno is in a league of his own. However Dr. Schecter is knowledgeable enough to make the diagnosis.

If I were in your shoes, I would see Dr. Schecter for a TMS diagnosis and use Dr. Schubiner's intensive online program for treatment.

Good luck!

Yes, I did a search and there were about 2 messages only.
I did see his website. I am looking for peoples opinions on his practice.
Thanks

You could try searching the forum. There is a "Search" link in the upper right hand corner.

Schechter is one of the main national TMS doctors. Have you visited his website (www. mindbodymedicine .com)? He also runs http://www.smi-mindbodyresearch.org/ .
