I need a recommendation for a Psychiatrist in the Bay Area who is at least aware of TMS and a clinical expert in Psychopharmacology. Someone in the city would be ideal. I really need this ASAP.

Thank you for any pointers.

As a matter of fact, there is a psychologist named Clark Grove in San Francisco who claims to know about Sarno's work and chronic pain. I found him on the tarpityoga site just recently. He also has an office in Marin. I know he's not a psychiatrist, but he might be able to point you to a doctor he workes with who prescribes meds:

I have not been to him (just found out about him last week). If you go for a consult, I'd love to hear about how went. I live on the Peninsula and would rather not schlep into The City for therapy right now...but at least I have the option if needed!
