Hi All,
Haven't posted here much in a long while. Just thought I'd reply to question re: Dr. Schubiners course. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. Am I cured? not yet, but well on my way. Symptoms are lessening. More so in the last month, since starting with " the practice" by Monte. This was the boost I needed. I may be speaking prematurely, I hope not, but the master practice is helping me with the "stuck" inner thinking. It is like the missing link in the TMS material. It's explained that you must get over the fear, change your thinking. But I didn't know how. Now I'm starting to get it.
Not only do you have to quit thinking physical, stop all treatments etc.. I'm not even supposed to be on these message boards for awhile Hope Monte doesn't see Just had to check in on everyone. Not here looking for comfort, or someone with my symptoms, just a hello. Saw my name mentioned re: Dr. Schubiner.
So yes, his course is worth every penny. It is because of him, I'm starting to get my life back. Now ask me in a month... hopefully I'll be better yet.

Dr. Schubiner's course is great and I highly recommend it for the RIGHT candidate. However, I want to emphasize the importance of having a diagnosis first. Taking Dr. Schubiner's course isn't like taking a trial of antibiotics. If you take antibiotics to see if an infection may be the cause of your symptoms, they WILL work if an infection is the cause whether you think so or not. You can't take Dr. Schubiner's course to see IF you have TMS. It WILL NOT WORK if you are not convinced that you have TMS first. Carrying doubt with you through the course will prevent it from achieving its purpose. If you have doubt and that is the main reason why you are not improving, then see a doctor (or a TMS doctor) and get the right diagnosis. However, if you KNOW that you have TMS, but that just isn't enough for you, then taking the course can definitely help. Trust me, Dr. Schubiner wants to help people. He wants his program to work for you, but the only way it will is if you are taking it for the right reason. Good luck!

I am doing it online. I did not see him to get a dx, becaues I am pretty convinced that what I have is TMS. I have seen doctors regarding my symptoms and nobody thinks that anything is wrong. I have gone to a chiropractor and he told me he thought it was a pinched nerve, or if not he would need to test for a herniated disc, but you know the story on that.
Learning what I have learned about TMS I do not feel like a nerve is pinched and I am not getting check for a herniated disc.
So I feel confident that it is TMS and I am going full force into the course. Besides since learning about TMS I have started to improve. I just want to get rid of all symptoms. |

I emailed him a quest and am thinking about his course also. I saw his videos online and apparently he himself has tms, don't we all tho at some time in our life, some just have it worst than others.
tcherie- are you doing in online, and did you visit with him first to get a dx or are you just doing it? |

Glad to help! Have you made a decision yet regarding whether you will purchase?
By the way, if people haven't seen it yet, I added a lot of stuff to the wiki page that isn't in the above post, including information about cheaper alternatives.

I am taking it now. I have not got far, but so far I am optimistic. I think he is very thorough in his approach, and positive results can probably come from it if a person commits to it. He emphasizes really comitting to it. |
