Posted - 02/05/2009 : 13:21:47 has anyone stumbled across this? i've searched through the archives and i've only found one mention of this RST as they called it. the lady who discovered it and practiced it (as well as curing her own case of schizophrenia with it) died a few years ago.

Posted - 02/06/2009 : 09:31:52 I still use some of the ideas from redirecting self therapy from time to time, but currently I am finding more success / insights re dealing with my anger / rage through The Solution Method aka The Pathway aka Developmental Skills Training. "mizlorinj" has talked about using that method of journaling and so I checked it out, and have been finding it *very* helpful. (THANKS LORI!) Have been dabbling in the ideas since last October and am just formally starting the first course ... (more for "maintenance" in terms of my TMS pain, which has been well under control for quite a while again.) |

Posted - 02/06/2009 : 01:41:07 definitely. i wish the community that surrounded this were still active. it seems to have almost completely died out. this rst stuff has helped me understand anger and where its supposed to go better than john lee's stuff even.

Posted - 02/06/2009 : 00:28:25 Yes, RageSootheRatio mentioned it a couple of months back (although I see there was a post on this forum by paulcote back in 2006, too), and I think it's fascinating.
They mainly mention mental illnesses but as it's about getting rid of repressed rage it seems very appropriate for TMS as well.
