I read that when relieving TMS symptoms there is a great relief in the first couple of weeks and then you lose ground and the pain comes back, then you fight it off again and its back and forth till it disappears over time. Ive been feeling great for the better part of 2 weeks, but lately, back stiffness and knee ache are starting to set in...when continuing my exercises program what advice can people offer to go through the pain (soreness usually sets in about 2 hours after a work out - yet the workout is in good from). This cycle can become a grind.

Thanks.

The biggest part of TMS is conditioning. Your mind will create symptoms to match what you believe.

In this case you read that there is some "hump" at 2 weeks, and sure enough, your mind obliged by bringing back the symptoms.

Everybody is different. TMS is not an exact science. One person might be pain free for the rest of his life after reading Healing Back Pain once. Others may struggle for months or years.

It is important to take a long-term view and not get distracted by day-to-day changes in the symptoms. Otherwise, as you say, it can become a grind.
